Tucker Carlson is out
A little surprised to see this notification cross my iPhone – "Fox News said Monday it has 'agreed to part ways' with Tucker Carlson, its popular and controversial host, less than a week after settling a lawsuit over the network’s 2020 election reporting." Source: AP News.

Last Thursday's eclipse at 29° Aries hit Carlson's 10th house Saturn, just 2° out. The eclipse chart for NYC (Fox's HQ) has Carlson's ascendant on the 8th house cusp.
Tucker's dismissal is undoubtedly related to his role in perpetuating election denialism in the American media. Looking at the full Moon preceding the 2020 election shows warnings for Carson not to get too incendiary.

Carson's natal Mars is on the ascendant of the election's full Moon, and the South Node was transiting over Carlson's Mars at that time. The South Node has reliable associations with things we do that we later come to regret: moments of slipping into what's easy, convenient, and available to us, though we may not realize that we are indeed slipping in these moments and headed south.
Further, Carlson's natal midheaven of 9° Aries is inverted in the election chart –6° Aries is at the lowest part of the chart, on the cusp of the 4th house. In political astrology, this would be revealing a major weakness for anyone in power, because their personal point of success is found in the election chart's lowest point, or the angle associated with challenging those in power (i.e., the 4th cusp).

What about Mercury's role in all this – Mercury's retrograde!
While writing this, another notice came across my phone: Don Lemon is out at CNN. "Lemon, one of the network’s most recognizable stars, had been under scrutiny since making remarks about women and aging in February that were widely perceived to be sexist," writes the NYTimes.
Combined with a solar eclipse which tends to centralize its effects on recognizable personalities, Mercury retrograde has brought a few chickens home to roost for newscasters & talk show hosts.
